Apple Notes on Windows?
Yes, with Notes Plus.
Apple has never released a Windows version of the Notes app.
But I have 😎! Notes Plus is an Apple Notes alternative for Windows 10 and 11, not an exact copy (for legal reasons), but we are close.
All notes are stored as local Markdown files in your own folders, and most original features are available.
Plus many new features: tags, priorities, favorites,
a vertical Kanban view of your notes,
syntax-highlighted code,
diagrams (Excalidraw, LaTeX, KaTeX and MathJax, Inline math,
AsciiMath, Mermaid diagrams,
PlantUML, Graphviz / DOT,
Vega-Lite, mhchem), proper
footnotes / citations.
This is an early alpha, so be warned to backup your files before you edit them with Notes Plus.
If you find a problem or just have a feature request, feel free to write me a mail or create a ticket on the bugreport page.
The app is FREE for now (but I plan to sell it for pay-once $19 for lifetime). The Windows version is exactly the same as the macOS version, except the iCloud sync feature (as there is no real iCloud sync possibility in Windows).
